I work in data governance and regulatory compliance, conducting applied research that is interdisciplinary and transnational.

• I am a PhD Candidate in Informatics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA

• My dissertation research builds a tool for facilitating the contextual fit* of international norms when applied to the governance of national statistical data in Latin America and the Caribbean

• In Q3 and Q4 of 2026, I am a DAAD RISE Professional Intern at BASF in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. There, I work on a project building a tool to automate regulatory processes

• In Q4 of 2025 through to Q2 of 2026, I was an Informatics Intern in the Statistics Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Santiago, Chile. There, I worked on a project providing guidance on best practices for data dissemination to National Statistical Offices in the region

• I hold a MA in Documentary Arts from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a BSc in Social Sciences with Social Anthropology from Birkbeck, University of London, UK
