I am a current PhD Candidate in Informatics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I hold a MA in Documentary Arts from the University of Cape Town and a BSc in Social Sciences with Social Anthropology from Birkbeck, University of London. Prior to my doctoral studies, I spent more than ten years working in education in the UK, Colombia, South Africa, and the USA.
